DESCRIPTION:Become a community scientist and help count birds in your neighborhood or on a count team for our annual Summer Bird Count!\nHeld on two days in mid-June, the scope of the Summer Bird Count is similar to the Christmas Bird Count in its count circle extent covering Greenwich, Stamford, Darien and parts of Westchester county NY. Not only does it provide a good excuse to spend a day birding in warm weather, but it is also a very important way for researchers to learn important information about the locations of breeding birds.\nIf you would like to join in counting efforts at the Greenwich Audubon Center on Saturday, June 10th contact Ryan MacLean at ryan.maclean@audubon.org.
