DESCRIPTION:Fairfield Event:\nGet ready for a chill in the air during a special tour of Greenfield Hill Cemetery. Discover the stories found within this centuries-old cemetery, the final resting place for nearly 1,000 of Fairfield’s earliest residents. Hear tales of Revolutionary War heroes, Isaac Bronson, and many others as the leaves rustle and autumn descends upon us.\nSpace is limited. Registration is required. $10 for Members; $15 for Non-Members.\nTours start at 10 am and 11:30 am.\nTour Location: Meet at the Greenfield Hill Cemetery gate on Bronson Rd.\nProgram Details\nPre-registration is required—no drop-ins will be allowed.\nTours are approximately 45 minutes long and will depart on their ghostly journey promptly at 10 AM and 11:30 AM.\nTours will meet at the gate on Bronson Road.\nPark on Bronson Road in the grassy area along the stone wall of the cemetery.\nPlease note that there are no restrooms at this location.\nThis program is recommended for adults and kids ages 12 and up.\nThe Greenfield Hill Cemetery can be difficult for people with limited mobility. Please contact the Fairfield Museum to discuss any accessibility concerns.\nIn case of inclement weather, the Fairfield Museum will make every effort to reschedule the tour. Please check the Fairfield Museum website (www.fairfieldhistory.org) for weather-related updates.\nNo refunds will be given unless the program is cancelled by the Fairfield Museum.\n
