Come to Pequot Library to learn about WWI-era victory gardens from the historical materials on display in our The Lure of the Garden exhibition and then try an easy way to preserve garden harvests today: pickling! Each participant will bring home a jar of refrigerator pickles and a WWI-style certificate of recognition for helping save food. For children in grades 3-5. Registration required.
